What is your style of photography?

I’m a documentary photographer. I’m a massive believer in capturing couples at their most natural as I find a lot of people freeze up if a camera is stuck in their face and demanded to smile. Over the years I’ve developed a style that relaxes the client so the natural emotions come easier and then when it’s time for the odd posed shot on the day it’s not as difficult for the couple to stand in front of the camera and throw out the biggest smiles.

Have you much experience with wedding photography?

Yes, between shooting my own weddings and working throughout Ireland second shooting for some of the best wedding photographers about I’ve built up a great knowledge on the ins and outs of how to get the best on a wedding day.

How long is the photo session?

I try and get the photo session done in less than an hour as I believe the couple likes to get back to their guests to mingle as quickly as possible.

 

What do you bring to the wedding other than photography?

I bring the most positive energy with an added bit of craic. The wedding is your big day and every bit of it should be enjoyed so with experience I can see the wee tell tale signs of stress in the morning and offer words of comfort that always seem to work.

 

How do I book Marty Crawford Photography for my wedding?

Start by filling in the questionnaire on this site and I will see is your date available. If available I will forward you on a complete package and price list.

 

Is a booking fee required?

Yes in order to secure your date a non refundable booking fee of €150 is required within 5 days of the inquiry or the date is freed up again.

When is the remainder due?

The final balance has to be paid no later than 1 month prior to your wedding date.

Do you do group photos during the wedding?

As standard I believe immediate family photos and wedding party photos is a must. I appreciate that there may be one or two other group shots that might be important to you so in these cases I try to be as accommodating as I can. But I believe that too many formal group photos can disrupt the flow of the day and eat into time.

 

Are you insured?

Yes I am fully insured with both Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance.

 

When do we see our images?

Depending on how busy I am your images are normally ready to be viewed on a pin protected online album within 6 weeks after your wedding.

 

Do you supply an album?

Yes, you can book from a basic digital package to a package which provides a choice of albums.

 

How far do you travel to weddings?

I mainly do weddings within 2 hours drive from my home but if you are interested in somewhere outside that area or a foreign wedding feel free to contact me and we can discuss prices for travelling

 

We live abroad/are very busy and cannot meet with you?
That’s no problem. I’ve had clients come from abroad to get married. In these cases, I usually use Facetime or Skype to set up a meeting and get some face to face time with them but if that is not an option I’ve met couples for the first time the morning of their wedding having arranged everything through emails and detail sheets and the day has went smoothly.

I think we should pick each other, we need to be the best possible team to make your day the one you’ve dreamt of all those years. We will have the best craic, get the best images and look back on the fondest of memories with giant smiles.
